They are graduates of our own subscription fleet. Unlike a standard used eBike, these haven't been sitting in a stranger's garage. They have been maintained by our mechanics since day one, and now they’ve been re-certified for you.

It's not just a wash and polish. Every eBike undergoes our rigorous Re-Certification process.

Step 1 — Lifetime Review: We review the detailed service history for each eBike to ensure nothing was missed during its previous life.

Step 2 — The Deep Clean & Strip: We strip it back. We do a full safety check, every sensor tested. If a part is worn beyond our quality guarantee, it's replaced.

Step 3 — The Bosch Diagnostic: We hook it up to the digital brain. Software updated, battery health verified, and motor torque tuned to manufacturer specifications.

Step 4 — The Road Test: Our mechanics take it to the streets. If it doesn't handle, brake, and accelerate to our standards, it doesn't make the cut.

Step 5 — The Lug+Carrie Seal: Fresh styling and a final "white glove" polish.

Pristine: A showroom gem. Barely a mark on it. You'd struggle to tell it's lived a life before you.

Excellent: Loved, but looked after. You might spot a tiny blemish if you look closely, but it sparkles from the curb.

Great: Honest transport. Some visible surface scuffs from regular use, but functionally top notch. A smart value choice.

Adventure Ready: Worn in, not worn out. Visible cosmetic wear that tells a story of past adventures. Perfect for riders who want the best mechanics at the absolute lowest price.

We also include a complimentary tune up within the first 6 months, to make sure everything is working tip top.

A "cycle" represents one full charge and discharge of the battery. But unless you are a battery engineer, that number probably doesn't mean much.

To make it real, we calculate that 1 Cycle = approx. 50km of riding.

We list the exact cycle count so you know exactly how much life is left. 

Here is how those cycles translate into real-world distance for these premium Bosch units:

• 0–500 Cycles (0km – 25,000km): This is where the majority of our fleet sits. Even at the top end of this bracket (500 cycles), you would have ridden enough to do a full lap of Australia.
  
  
• 501 - 1500 Cycles  (The 25,000km Benchmark): This is the conservative benchmark for Bosch’s Performance Warranty; at this condition, Bosch states a performance expectation of at least 80% of its original capacity (limited to two years). To put that in perspective, the average Aussie rider does about 2,000km a year. Hitting this limit would take most people over 10 years.
  
  
• 1,500+ Cycles (75,000km Lifespan): These units are engineered to keep going long after the warranty period ends. This is where we would likely give someone a round of applause for having ridden for 75,000 kms! 

The Bottom Line: Most of our Certified Pre-Owned eBikes have fewer than 100 cycles on the clock (approx. 5,000km).

eBike motors are more like car engines, they are built to run for tens of thousands of kilometers. A reading of 2,000km might sound like a lot for a pushbike, but for a Bosch e-Cargo motor, it’s barely broken in.

Here is a guide to help you understand the reading:

• Just Warmed Up (0 – 500km): Effectively a demo model. It’s been round the block, but it’s practically fresh out of the box.
  
• Prime Time (500km – 3,500km): The sweet spot. The motor is run-in, the components are settled, and it has proven its reliability on the road.
  
  
• Road Tested (3,500km+): An experienced traveller. It has done some work, but with our Re-Certification process replacing wear-and-tear parts (like chains and brakepads), the motor has years of adventures left in the tank.
